Our Story

Serving communities with transparency and compassion since April 17, 2004.

Ashraya Trust is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) established in Bangalore, Karnataka. For over two decades, our core philosophy has centered on enabling rural communities to become resilient, healthy, and self-sufficient through hands-on support.

We refuse to believe in complex or superficial solutions. Instead, we channel resources directly into three essential areas of daily importance:

Sustainable Water Projects

Clean drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet many villages in Karnataka continue to face acute water scarcity. Ashraya Trust installs durable borewells and drinking water taps directly within rural clusters, ensuring community-wide access to safe, potable water.

Tailoring & Skill Development

Financial independence transforms families. We operate a tailoring school designed to equip local women with professional garment skills. Through a structured 6-month curriculum, hands-on sewing practice, and post-training job placement support, we help students transition into stable livelihood earners.

School Education Support

We believe that financial hardship should never force a student out of school. Ashraya Trust provides educational assistance by directly helping studied students pay their official registration and academic fees.
